Welding training is skills based. We are continually updating our delivery of methods to reflect current industrial practice. We follow specific performance objectives and our programs are designed to meet specific criteria for each phase of training. We use four proven strategies to teach welding:
Lecture/Discussion to facilitate total understanding of key welding theory, procedure and code requirements.
Demonstration to show correct preparation prior to welding and proper use of welding supplies and machines.
Supervised Individual Practice with constant instructor contact to give each student an opportunity to demonstrate newly learned techniques.
Written and Practical Testing to insure that students have understood theoretical classroom training and hands-on practice. Weld testing (bending or sectioning) is a major part of each course to help verify readiness for employment. Certification testing to internationally recognized standards will follow successful completion of training.
Welding Skills Training designed to teach welding techniques to gain usable skills in welding processes. It is our goal to deliver the practical skills required for each welding process. Our hands-on welding training has 70% share to 30% share for theoretical classroom training; this is designed to enable trainees deliver enhanced performance on the job.
