Civil Construction Technician - Track 1

Duration of Study: Eleven Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG High School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for civil construction technician where the trainee is qualified in plumbing, electrical installations, electrical construction, electric arc welding and gas tungsten arc welding to follow an intensive prep-course in occupational English, mathematics and trainee safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.

Employment Opportunities:

A graduate of this program can apply for positions as a civil construction technician in major industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, electric power, water and related support services, in addition to opportunities in sectors including construction, contracting, operation, maintenance, engineering and technical services.

Civil Construction Technician - Track 2

Duration of Study: Seven Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG High School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for civil construction technician where the trainee is qualified in concrete structures, steel building structures, steel fixing workshop, formwork workshop, steel fixing blueprint reading and formwork blueprint reading to follow an intensive prep-course in occupational English, mathematics and trainee safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.

Employment Opportunities:

Welding Projects Technician

Duration of Study: Nine Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG High School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for welding projects technician where the trainee is qualified in electric arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, metal cutting, liquid penetrant testing, engineering drawing and safety to follow an intensive prep-course in occupational English, mathematics, physics and trainee safety

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate

A graduate of this program can apply for positions as a welding projects technician in major industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, electric power, water and related support services, in addition to opportunities in sectors including construction, contracting, operation, maintenance, engineering and technical services.

Applied Assistant Construction Foreman

Duration of Study: Three Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG High School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for assistant construction foreman where a trainee is qualified in blueprint reading, contract documents and contracting methods, construction project stages, project management, project resources management, technical specifications for construction works, cost calculations and project works supervision in addition to prep-course in occupational English terminology and safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.

A graduate of this program can apply for a position as an assistant construction foreman in major industry support services sector in addition to available employment opportunities in sectors including construction, contracting, operation & maintenance, engineering and technical services.

Applied Surveying Technician

Duration of Study: Three Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG High School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for surveying technician where a trainee is qualified in measuring systems and conversion, distance calculations, area calculations, volume calculations, distance and angle measurements, surveying equipment types, leveling, errors in surveying, recording of measurements, map types and GPS systems in addition to a prep-course in occupational English terminology and safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.

Applied Construction Technician

Duration of Study: Three Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG Intermediate School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for construction technician where a trainee is qualified in excavation and backfilling works, road works, concrete works, formwork, steel fixing works, insulation works, plumbing works, electrical load-distribution in buildings and finishing works in addition to a prep-course in occupational English terminology and safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.

Applied Roads Technician

Duration of Study: Three Months

Acceptance Criteria: SAG Intermediate School or Equivalent

Description:

This program was custom designed and developed by the Institute based on practical experience coupled with academic knowledge of this vocation after a comprehensive study of Saudi labor market needs; it includes the skills required for roads technician where a trainee is qualified in road design requirements, road section members, intersections, blueprint reading, soil compacting works, asphalt materials, road construction stages, road maintenance, lab-testing and sanitary systems in addition to a prep-course in occupational English terminology and safety.

Award:

After completion of all course requirements, a Trainee will be awarded a certificate.
