The School of Construction Technology

Our Construction School focuses on helping students develop the skills they need to launch rewarding careers in one of the largest and fast-growing sectors of the economy. We offer industry-relevant programs taught by highly qualified trained faculty and our state of the art labs and workshops allow students to learn in facilities that replicate the real world, giving them a clear competitive advantage.

 

The School of Construction has a wide array of programs that prepare students to fill a variety of roles across all sectors of the construction industry through our HND, Certificate and Short Courses programs. Our hands-on construction training has 70% share to 30% share for theoretical classroom training; this is designed to enable trainees deliver enhanced performance on the job.

Construction training is designed to meet specific performance objectives; it utilizes different delivery methods that include Lecture/Discussion, Demonstration, Supervised Individual Practice, Written examination and Practical Testing.
