Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner

Duration of Study: 10 Weeks

Acceptance Criteria: Diploma in safety and occupational health or any other discipline

Description:

This program was developed by the ministry of human resources and social development to qualify occupational health and safety job seekers. It includes the skills required for safety and occupational health practitioner where the trainee is qualified in occupational health and safety management system, occupational health and safety risk management, occupational health and safety audit and inspection, accidents and incidents, and occupational health and safety culture.

Award:

A Trainee will be awarded a practitioner certificate after completion of all requirements set by the ministry of human resources and social development.

Employment Opportunities:

A graduate of this program can work as an occupational health and safety practitioner in major economic activity sectors such as construction, oil and natural gas, electricity, water, gas, health services, mines and quarries, cement industry, petrochemical, coal and elastomer, ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, stone and granite and manufacturing.

Occupational Health and Safety Professional

Duration of Study: 16 Weeks

Acceptance Criteria: Bachelor degree or diploma with at least 10 years of experience
